The Fine Print

The first book in the Dreamland Billionaires series was different than what I had expected when going into reading it. I heard great things about this book and author through "book-Tok" and friends and couldn't wait to read it; however, the plot was not exactly what I thought it was going to be. The plot followed the youngest of three brothers, who were set to inherit a piece of the family business, and a spunky employee. After the boys' grandfather had passed away, each of the three grandsons were given a task to complete before earning their share of the company. Rowan was forced to go to the amusement park and figure out a creative way to renovate the park for the upcoming anniversary. He, then, is introduced to one of the hair and makeup artists. When hearing her ideas for the park, he promotes her to being one of the creators, only he doesn't realize his feelings for her until it's too late. Mistakes are made and hearts are put on the line when these two are forced to come together and make a plan for the park's renovation. 
While I did enjoy this book and loved the author's style of writing, it was a little weird to read about it considering the idea was very similar to Disney World. I wasn't expecting it to be a story like that and have many of the same factors that the Disney company has, just with a different name. In that respect, I was not a very big fan of the book. However, I loved the two books that follow this one and the story, overall, is very good. I really enjoyed Asher's writing style, as it was an easy read, but also encompassed many of my favorite components in a Romance novel. I love the characters and the chemistry between the two main characters. I also really enjoyed the plot of the book, even though the topic was a little hard to get behind at first. I would still recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance story and has a love for Disney. The other two books in the series are not as closely related to Disney World and are good enough to make reading the first one worth it, if the Disney idea is unappealing.

  Just For the Summer Written By: Abby Jimenez This week, I introduce to you: Just For the Summer. The story follows two characters happen to be stuck in the same constant loop of dating a person and that person meeting the love of their life immediately after their breakup. When discovering each others' dilemma through social media, the two characters agree to date each other to hopefully cancel out their alleged curse. They agree to a relationship "just for the summer" encompassing all of the things they have done in previous relationships. However, like all fake dating occurrences, their situation gets a bit messy. This story has everything you could ask for in a cutie romance with a deeper meaning.   Pretty Girls Written by: Karin Slaughter Nothing gets me into the Fall/Halloween spirit like a good thriller. Although some may say it is too early, I just couldn't wait, especially when I heard about this book. Pretty Girls  follows the plot of three sisters, one abducted years ago from her college, and two living in present day. After the death of one sister's husband, the two sisters reunite following years of no contact and begin unraveling the story of what happened to their sister and how the husband's death ties into it.  This book will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time. It pulls at your heart strings with passages written by the girls' dad after the kidnapping and absolutely blows your mind with the thought out plot twists.
